Just been watching Newsnight, they had a focus group about potential new Labour Party leaders. The people in the group were a mixture of people.
They were shown the picture of John McDonnell - none recognised him. After seeing his and the other potential candidates they were asked who they would like to be leader and hence Prime Minister.
4 people out of 30 picked him, based on a photo.
