Nearing the end of my time in the local A&E department before heading to cancer medicine. My last set of shifts are on the party section, covering late evening till dawn.
Also looming ahead in ten days time is a postgraduate exam whose revision has been hampered by some post-work lethargy. I've had a lot of changing patterns to shifts and it's kind of thrown my body clock with some insomnia last week. But has come in handy for these nights.
Caught up with a friend of mine who is emigrating. We tend to catch up about once a year and it is always very special. So next year I will need to go to Australia as so many people i know are heading there.
Outside of work Crowded House were great. Fall At Your Feet again stimulated my lacrimal glands - good job it was near the beginning so I just got a bit misty! Distant Sun was towards the end of the set and I danced and sang my little heart out.
